Enhanced Visibility:
Designed to simplify the maneuvering of your boat onto the trailer, our guide poles feature highly visible white PVC upright tubes. These tubes act as a visual aid, facilitating the alignment and centering of your vessel during retrieval, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

Versatile Sizing:
What sets our Trailer Guide Poles apart is their versatility – available in multiple sizes to accommodate a range of boat dimensions and trailer configurations. This adaptability ensures a customized solution for various vessels, making them an ideal choice for boaters of all experience levels.

Please note: when trailering your boat on public roads, please ensure the Trailer Guide Poles are not extended out past the width of the trailer’s wheel
arch and/or the width of the boat (whichever is widest) and ensure the PVC tubes are removed from the mounting frame. The Trailer Guide Pole kit includes both left and right-hand side trailer guide poles and mounting assembly.

Adaptable to Trailer Styles:
Our Trailer Guide Poles offer you the choice of two types of mounting kits, suitable for either rectangular tube trailer frames or I-Beam style trailer frames.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Oceansouth began in 1985 in a small garage in Melbourne, Australia as a part-time project making boat ladders and bimini tops. It quickly grew into a global leader in the design and manufacturing of marine accessories. The company expanded its product line beyond its initial offerings, becoming an industry innovator known for blending functionality with style. This reputation for quality led to national recognition in Australia and a move to a larger manufacturing facility in 1990.

In 2012, Oceansouth made its mark in the U.S.A by establishing its divisional headquarters in Miami, driven by the ambition to reach a broader market and to capitalise on the influential US boating scene. This expansion into the U.S.A. was a huge success, leading to further growth in North America and setting the stage for Oceansouth’s foray into the European sector in 2014, with its European base established in Germany.

With our products now sold in 94 countries worldwide, Oceansouth is the premier market leader in marine and boating accessories.

How do I select which style is best for my trailer?

To choose the best style for your trailer, follow these steps:

1. Determine the type of trailer beam you have by examining photos. It could be an I-Beam or a Rectangular beam trailer.
2. Measure the distance from the top of your trailer to determine the appropriate size for your guide poles.
3. Select the size that best matches your requirements from the available options.

Remember that the choice ultimately comes down to personal preference and the specific needs of your boat and trailer setup.

Can I trailer with the poles plugged in and up?
No, it is not recommended to trailer with the guide poles plugged in and up. It’s essential to lower or remove the guide poles before towing the trailer to prevent any potential damage to the poles, the boat, or other vehicles on the road.
You can just detach the PVC sections and leave the L-shaped uprights. Yet it’s crucial to ensure the L shape uprights are not protruding further than the legal road limit.

Can I add reflector tape for early morning or nighttime?
Yes, adding reflector tape to your trailer guide poles can be very useful for enhancing visibility during early morning or nighttime towing.

Can I return or exchange the product if it doesn’t fit?
Yes, as long as the product has not been damaged. Contact sales@oceansouth.us to find out how to organize the return.
